Lifelong IBS at age 57, always vacillating between IBS-C and IBS-D. The past six months have been a long, difficult stretch of IBS-C. Was referred to GI, where I went through another colonoscopy and CT with contrast: "all is fine," was the final report, except for the chronic constipation, of course. The recommendation was to attempt Metamucil or go on a prescription med. I decided I would take over: I returned to my raw vegan life and have been 100% fruitarian for a month now. Along with GI #5, I am feeling enormously better and I now have faith that I never have to have SIBO again. Thank you, Dr. Morse and team!
